Jesse Vaught (Pastor)

[From L-R] Back: Enoch, Stacey, Jesse, Caleb, Sam, Abby. Front: Lily, Grace, Freedom, Korban.

Jesse writes this:

I believe God has prepared me my whole life for ministry. My heart’s passion is to serve Him as the most worthy Master. He commands me to love Him with my heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love others as I love myself. These are my goals. I am far from having achieved them, which is why I need time alone with God and many partners in ministry.

My job description according to 2 Corinthians 5:20 and Ephesians 4:12 is to plead with unbelievers to be reconciled to God, and to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.

Jesse trusted in Christ at the age of 3, and began reading the Bible by his own choice at the age of 5. He actually got in trouble in Kindergarten for preaching to the rest of the class! He was constantly involved with Sunday School, youth camps, and summer missions. He taught his first high-school Sunday School class in 1991, and has continued to be involved in adult teaching ever since. He blesses The Point weekly with his substantive Bible studies and sermons.

Jesse started taking formal Bible classes at Derby School of Theology in 1989, and was ordained in 2002. He received a Master of Divinity degree from St. Louis Theological Seminary in May, 2012. He also has a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Colorado School of Mines (1996).

Jesse serves with his wife Stacey (married in 1994) and nine children. He can be reached by email or phone (720) 989-3950.
